Song Kyunga, a staple in the Korean modeling scene, has been gracing the cat walks of top designers since she was 15 years old. By juggling school work and modeling, she overcame her parents and Korean society’s tough focus on education rather than the glitz and glam of modeling. She started her career by winning accolades in the Elite Super Model contest in Korea and thus began her modeling career. She then sought out the international scene by modeling for 6 months in Paris and other European markets for top designers like Christian-Dior in the tender age of 19. With a thirst for a broader market she left Korea after several years and joined One Model Agency in New York and modeled in the US for almost 2 years.

Song’s career in Korea blossomed becoming one of the most recognized supermodels in the nation. She has done almost every major international label’s fashion shows in Korea and has won model of the year 3 times from Korean Model's Association. Also she has been a feature in many advertisements such as Vidal Sassoon, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, Benz, Saks Fifth Ave, L'Oreal, Levi's and was the first Asian model to be in a Guess campaign.

She is also a TV personality as one of the founding members of Korea’s Next Top Model and had her own fashion program in the most popular music video channel “MNET” in the nation. One of her favorite hobbies, art has led to her writing and illustrating a bestselling book on her adventures of modeling in New York. Her next book on her travels around the world is currently being published in Korea. Aside from modeling she is currently pursuing her passion for art as a MBA student in one of Korea’s most prestigious universities. She hopes to one day become a curator for a famous museum.
